Given the choice of anyone in the world and any time, whom would you most want to tour with?
Silk Sonic.
Describe the “perfect” day for you:
Any day where we get to wake up in nature and play music with our friends/family is a good freaking day! Luckily we get lots of these, especially on tour!
Is there something you’ve collectively dreamed of doing for a long time? (Why haven’t you?)
We want to film and play a different song in every national park. Don’t know if it’s quite possible…
What’s your most treasured memory of tour?
We have this one place on the way to Reno along the 80 east that follows the river! Almost everytime we pass through we make it a ritual to always jump in! This spot is actually the photo for the insert of our “Bloom” vinyls, but where its located is a secret….shhhhh!
Do you have a bad or weird tour story?
We once accidentally took a wrong turn up the mountainside of Lake Tahoe. This was when we had our $400 1992 econoline and it had started to smoke. Not to mention our brakes were in pretty bad shape. Luckily we made it to Reno and were able to play the show in time, but that was one of the last times we drove that van. Now we have our second generation band van and it is much better than the first.
Do you have any secret projects in store for the coming year?
Can’t say too much, but we do have plans to play way more shows and we’re still continuing to work on new music! 🙂
If your home caught fire & you could only save one item, what would it be & why?
My fiddle leaf tree. Nature comes first.
What do you most hope to accomplish as artists?
It would be nice to pay my rent. That’s kind of all I’m asking for!
If you were going to die today with no time to relay any message, is there something you’d regret not having said or done?
It’s all of our dreams to play The Filmore in San Francisco!
What’s one thing you’d like to be remembered for?
We would want to be remembered for spreading love and positivity. We love playing music, and it is therapeutic for us all. If our music can be therapeutic and promote positivity for someone else, that’s all we could truly ask for!
