Describe the “perfect” day for you.
Waking up extra early and making a cup of coffee. Rolling a j and smoking outside while I water the garden. I like to spend my time with my friends and family. Music is always the fuel during my day. Living part of the story.
Is there something you’ve dreamed of doing for a long time? Why haven’t you done it?
Traveling and playing music venues with other bands. Life has restricted us much but hopefully that’ll change soon.
Share an embarassing moment in your life.
Almost shtting my pants during a family trip while on the highway. I ended up shitting my brains out off the side of the road.
What are you most grateful for in your life?
Being able to share my experiences with the awesome people in my life.
What’s your most treasured memory?
I believe I’m making some of the best memories in my life at the moment. But if I had to choose, I’d say the one time I hosted my own event at the old Paddy’s At The Rock (in Brawley, CA), with the help of my family and friends. It was awesome. Lots of local talent got together to create a wonderful experience. That really kick started our group and my project.
What’s your most terrible memory?
Hiking in the woods with my partner at night and witnessing a supernatural entity. It was definitely frightening. It’s a really cool story to talk about but thinking about it still frightens me. I never fail to raise the hairs on my body with this memory.
If you knew you only had a year left to live, would you change anything about the way you’re living now?
I would for sure quit my day job and go full throttle with what I’m already doing.
If your home caught fire & you could only save one item, what would it be and why?
My Macbook Pro 2011. I’ve been making music on that machine for more than a decade. It’s a piece of my history.
With whom do you have the closest relationship?
My dogs. They are my best friends and my family. They see me on my good and bad days. They know every secret, and I love them with all my heart. They don’t judge, and they’re my protectors.
If you were going to die today with no time to relay any message, what would you most regret not having done or said?
Not taking my music as serious at an earlier age. I let others dictate what I could or couldn’t do.
What’s one thing you want to be remembered for?
For my love of music and my friends and family. I want my stories to live on even when I’m long gone.
